She Surfs FAQ: Surf Camp & Surf Lessons in Tenerife

📍 Where is the surf camp?

Our surf house is in San Blas, in the south of Tenerife, with sea views from both rooms. Your surf lessons take place in Playa de las Américas, and transport between the house and the school is included. We share the exact address with guests after booking.

🏄‍♀️ Do I need surf experience?

Not at all. The camp is for complete beginners and intermediate surfers. With a maximum of 4 women per instructor and Drysurf training on land, every lesson is adapted to your level.

🎒 What should I bring to the camp?

Just bring your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and a positive attitude. We provide the surfboard, wetsuit, leash and surf shoes for every lesson.

👩‍👩‍👧‍👧 Is the camp only for women?

Yes. The surf house is women-only, with a maximum of 6 guests and our 2 host sisters. Our team includes female instructors. Our surf school, however, welcomes everyone.

⏱️ How long is the camp?

Every camp runs from Sunday to Sunday: 7 nights at the surf house. Check-in is on Sunday from 2:00 pm. During the week you get 5 surf lessons of about 2 hours each, including theory on the beach, warm-up and practice in the water.

🌊 Where are the surf lessons?

We teach mainly in Playa de las Américas, choosing the safest and most suitable surf spot every day depending on the conditions. Transport from the surf house to the school and back is included.

🙋‍♀️ Can I come on my own?

Yes! Many of our guests travel solo. You book one bed in a shared room, and from the first day you’ll share breakfasts, surf sessions and stories with the other women and our host sisters. Arrive alone, leave with a family.

👩‍🏫 What’s included in the camp?

7 nights in a shared room with sea views in San Blas.

5 surf lessons with a maximum of 4 women per instructor and Drysurf training.

All surf equipment (board, wetsuit, leash and surf shoes).

Certified surf instructors and accident insurance.

6 breakfasts.

Transport from the surf house to the school and back.

2 host sisters living with you all week.

💶 How do I book the camp?

📅 What if the waves aren’t good?

Your safety always comes first. We plan your 5 surf lessons around the swell and the tide, choosing the best days and the safest spot. If the ocean isn’t safe, we move the lesson to another day or another beach.

👭 What’s the difference between the rooms?

Both rooms have sea views and include the full camp package.

Four-bed shared room: €660 per person.

Two-bed shared room with private bathroom: €780 per person.

🏡 Who stays at the surf house?

Only women: a maximum of 6 guests and our 2 host sisters, who live with you all week and make you feel at home. Our instructors and the rest of the She Surfs team do not stay at the house.

🏄 Can I book surf lessons without the camp?

Yes! Our surf school in Playa de las Américas welcomes everyone, including kids from 7 years old with parental authorisation. Book your lesson on WhatsApp at +34 604 201 462. Coming with friends? Book for 3 people and the 4th person surfs for free.
